How the VA Rates Vertigo & Meniere's

Two paths: peripheral vestibular disorders (10/30%) or Meniere's syndrome (30–100%), which requires the triad of hearing loss, vertigo, and often tinnitus. Attack frequency in your records sets the tier — or Meniere's can alternatively be rated by combining separate hearing, tinnitus, and vertigo ratings, whichever is higher.

Evidence That Wins This Claim

  • Log every vertigo attack with date and duration.
  • ENT/vestibular testing (ENG/VNG) is the objective anchor.
